After building a website the big challenges is letting the search engines know that your site exists. To increase the chances of a site being found, design every page to be indexed by search engines. This means giving each page a unique title, META tags and content.

Resubmitting monthly ensures your site won't get lost. Don't submit your sites too frequently. Most search engines will consider this as spam and will exclude your site from their indexes. DMOZ is an open directory; it may take any where from two weeks to months for your site to be listed. DO NOT submit the same URL more than once. If you do, you will be banned for spamming and your site will never be listed. Wait until your site is complete before submitting it.
To submit to DMOZ, select the category that best fits your website. Click on the Add URL button; follow the instructions on the submission form carefully to submit your website.
